April 3rd marks eight years as the Arabic Baptist Church in Murfreesboro! As we look forward to welcoming our new full-time pastor and his family, we look with anticipation of what God will do among us. The harvest is white. The work continues to His glory.

I just received word that Dr. Jack's funeral will be on Friday at Forrest Hills Baptist Church, 2101 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215. Visitation is from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. The funeral is at noon. The burial will be on Sunday in Brownsville, TN.

Our hearts are broken over the sudden loss of our dear brother, Dr. Jack Forrest. He was a dear man of God and loved teaching the Word of God at the Arabic Baptist Church. Pray for Carolyn, Micah, Edward and all the family, as they grieve their loss. Also be in prayer for them as they have also suffered the loss of their home in the fire that took Jack's life. We will keep you posted of any arrangements.

Today begins our month long focus on state missions as we observe the season of prayer and participate in Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions. While the offering is taken year round and the ministries happen throughout the year, we spotlight in September how together Tennessee Baptists support missions and ministries in Tennessee.
